I gain my inspiration from the fabric in my extensive palette.
I may start with one fabric or an entire group of fabrics.
You can see the group of fabrics I am working from as well as the beginning of one of my creations.
This gives you a little closer view of the piece at this stage.

Another addition to this.
This is another piece where I am using free form curved piecing.
I will live with this for a while before I add more pieces to it. It’s all about listening to the work and letting it tell me where I should go.
I enjoy the freedom of working this way, but it can present some challenges making things fit.
